MOD 105 was created 3 years ago with the aim of providing a novel, stylish solution for modular garden offices. Prior to this the company founder gained 8 years experience building more traditional garden rooms.
The ethos of the company was born out of frustration at the existing options for garden offices on the market. Many of them profess to be completely modular but in reality they fall at the first hurdle. This lead to director Paul Cameron designing and patenting his own unique building system based around an aluminium frame that truly is modular. So much so that everything about the style and size of the building is left up to the client and they can even be dismantled and re-erected as desired.
This element of the design has proved especially significant for several of our previous projects as it effectively means that our buildings can be flat packed. This in turn allows for their transport over large distances with relative ease.
As a company, customer satisfaction is at the forefront of our service. We aim to make each building a personal journey for our clients and not the stressful experience that it has the potential to be.
We offer a full service from the initial design through to the final installation and electrical connections. Working with our clients every step of the way to achieve a final garden space that they love and can be used as an extension of the house all year round.
Our buildings are fully manufactured at our workshop and can be put up in a single day at the desired location. This minimises the amount of disruption and is a significantly shorter build time than the services offered by other companies.
Due to the design of our buildings they usually fall within the permitted developer rights and there is usualy no need for planning permission. However, in special cases or for larger builds where it may be necessary we are able to offer assistance throughout this process to ensure that all of the appropriate permissions are obtained.
We are based on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells in a small workshop nestled between 2 farms. These picturesque country surroundings provide a beautiful backdrop against which to design, however they are in stark contrast with the modern style of our buildings.
Our small town location has in no way limited our business horizons, as since our formation in 2012 we have travelled trans-atlantic to erect a room in Hawaii, as well as other projects closer to home in London and Ireland. Our ability to do this is largely down to our high quality offsite manufacture and ability to transport the component parts in a flat packed form.
